Emergency Egress

Emergency Egress

SLPA has been discussing and exploring a secondary emergency egress out of Skyline Lakes, ever since the brush fire on March 10-12, 2020 – just below the entrance to Skyline Lakes.  That fire was sparked by high winds that blew a tree into the power lines.  No injuries or property damage occurred.  However, several acres of wooded land were charred.  See article for details.  Those charred areas are visible today.

After exploring a couple of options, the only viable option was to use an existing road that connects S. Lake View Drive with Lake View Drive, which exits onto Tanner’s Ridge Road below the primary entrance/exit.  This egress is for emergency use ONLY.  Please refrain from “testing the route.”  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the board.  Click on the image below to enlarge it.
