Lot Fee FAQs

2026 lot fees are $112 per lot.

Lot fees for the coming year are discussed at the October board meeting. Fees are established based on the proposed budget and reflect primarily expenses projected for maintaining the road network and snow removal.

Invoices are sent during the last week of December. Members elect to receive their invoice either by email or USPS.

The due date is January 31st.

Members are encouraged to pay via the PayPal link on the SLPA website (skylinelakes.org) or payment can be sent to our PO box at: SLPA, PO Box 507, Elkton VA 22827.

We depend on timely payment of lot fees so there is sufficient cash on hand to pay our contractors for both gravel, road repair, and snow removal.

SLPA policy states any account past due more than 60 days past the January 31st due date will be assessed a 5% late fee.

If an account remains past due six months beyond the 60-day deadline for assessing late fees, the account will be turned over to SLPA legal counsel for collection (October 1st). In addition to the lot fees due, the owner is responsible for all costs related to collecting past due amounts. This includes but is not limited to legal expenses, court costs and interest.
